We have developed a new catalytic homologation method based on the application of organoboronates and CF<sub>3</sub>-diazomethanes. This method is suitable for the synthesis of chiral α-CF<sub>3</sub> boronates with high selectivity. The reaction was catalyzed by BINOL derivatives. The poster presentation is focused on the activation and stereoinduction effects of the BINOL catalyst in the homologation reaction.
