Our previous study disclosed a photocatalytic synthesis of glycosyl fluorides using sulfur(VI) hexafluoride (SF<sub>6</sub>) as an inexpensive and safe fluorinating agent and 4,4'-dimethoxybenzophenone as readily available organophotocatalyst. Application of continuous flow process accomplished fluorination on a 7.7 g scale in 93% yield. This study describes electro-activation of SF<sub>6</sub> for deoxofluorination of glycosides which shows improved yields and efficiency in reaction time and multi-gram scale synthesis. The practicality of Nagorny deoxofluorination was demonstrated by successful synthesis of 17 different glycosyl fluorides in 73-98% yields.
