**Main Body of the Abstract**
Background: Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) is a rare, progressively debilitating, fatal disease with poor prognosis.
Objective: To estimate the survival of patients with ATTR-CM according to daily dose of loop diuretics.
Methods: SNDS nationwide claims database was used to identify ATTR-CM patients, with a first code of cardiovascular condition and a subsequent code of amyloidosis. The daily dose of loop diuretics at diagnosis was classified in 4 levels: level 1 (furosemide<20mg; bumetanide<0.5mg); level 2 (furosemide=20-59mg; bumetanide=0.5-1.4mg); level 3 (furosemide=60-119mg; bumetamide=1.5-2.9mg); level 4 (furosemide≥120mg; bumetanide≥3mg). It was estimated by dividing the total dose dispensed over six months period after diagnosis by 180 days. The period between diagnosis and death was considered for patients who died in the six months, and for patients with no diuretics after diagnosis, the six months period before diagnosis was used.
Results: Between 2011 and 2021, 13,737 patients were identified. The median survival time was 36.9 months (95%CI [35.5-38.3]). Deaths happened rapidly after diagnosis as 3,602 individuals (26.2%) died a year after diagnosis and 4,802 (35.0%) died before reaching two years of survival. Survival was inversely correlated with the diuretics dose (p-logrank<0.0001): median survival was 5.7 years (95%CI [5.2-6.1]) for level 1, 3.5 years (95%CI [3.3-3.7]) for level 2, 2.6 years (95%CI [2.5-2.9]) for level 3 and 1.6 years (95%CI [1.5-1.7]) for level 4.
Conclusion: These data illustrate the severity of ATTR-CM in real life and the interest of the daily dose of loop diuretics to better stratify the prognosis.

We invite you to attend the XIX International Symposium on Amyloidosis to be held in Rochester, MN.

This symposium is organized as a hybrid meeting (with the focus on in-person) held from Sunday, May 26 through Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Together with the ISA Board and members of Mayo Clinic, a very attractive scientific hybrid program is being planned. The program will cover a variety of types of systemic amyloidosis: ATTR (hereditary and wild-type), AL (light-chain), AA and less frequent forms. There will be key lectures, specific symposia including those company sponsored, oral presentations and poster sessions of accepted abstracts.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program will provide a comprehensive review of state-of-the-art education in systemic amyloidosis: basic science, pathophysiology, diagnosis, current and emerging treatments. Scientific presentations will include competitive oral and poster abstracts. The rapid evolution of scientific discovery and expanding treatment options has created tremendous interest in the field and this meeting will fill and important gap in educating scientists and clinicians.
