**Main Body of the Abstract**
Introduction. Transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) is characterized by progressive cardiac dysfunction. Objective: To describe and compare ATTR-CM classified into three groups HFpEF (≥50%), HFmrEF (41%–49%), and HFrEF (≤40%). Methods. Retrospective cohort in patients with ATTR-CM defined by an end-diastolic interventricular septal wall thickness ≥12mm, cardiac scintigraphy with uptake grade ≥2 (Perugini scale) or evidence of transthyretin amyloid on cardiac biopsy. Patients with others cardiomyopathies were excluded. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software, version 23. Results. 83 patients were included (mean age 74.2 years), with a mean follow-up time of 65.7 ± 42.3 months. The distribution for HFpEF, HFmrEF and HFrEF was 55.4%, 19.3% and 25.3%, respectively. There was no significant difference in the ATTRv form among the groups (p=0.660), although there was a statistical difference in the p.Val142Ile variant, with a lower prevalence in the groups with HFpEF and HFmrEF and higher in the group with HFrEF (8.7%, 12.5% and 47.6%; p=0.035). BNP was less elevated in HFpEF and HFmrEF than in HFrEF, showing a significant difference (361.0pg/mL, 350.0pg/mL and 675.5pg/mL, respectively; p=0.035). On the ECG, LBBB was more frequent in HFmrEF (p=0.026). On the echocardiogram, the interventricular septum was higher in HFrEF, as well as mitral and tricuspid insufficiency, with statistical difference when compared with HFpEF and HFmrEF. In the survival curve, the HFrEF had higher mortality when compared to the other groups (HR 0.24; 95% CI, 0.10-0.37; p <0.001). Conclusion. Our study demonstrated that patients with ATTR-CM with HFrEF has a worse prognosis.

We invite you to attend the XIX International Symposium on Amyloidosis to be held in Rochester, MN.

This symposium is organized as a hybrid meeting (with the focus on in-person) held from Sunday, May 26 through Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Together with the ISA Board and members of Mayo Clinic, a very attractive scientific hybrid program is being planned. The program will cover a variety of types of systemic amyloidosis: ATTR (hereditary and wild-type), AL (light-chain), AA and less frequent forms. There will be key lectures, specific symposia including those company sponsored, oral presentations and poster sessions of accepted abstracts.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program will provide a comprehensive review of state-of-the-art education in systemic amyloidosis: basic science, pathophysiology, diagnosis, current and emerging treatments. Scientific presentations will include competitive oral and poster abstracts. The rapid evolution of scientific discovery and expanding treatment options has created tremendous interest in the field and this meeting will fill and important gap in educating scientists and clinicians.
