This poster presents an analysis of stakeholders' views on incentive measures to foster research and development (R&D) in disease areas with (high) unmet medical needs (UMN) as part of the reformation of the European Commissionâ€™s pharmaceutical legislation. The survey responses from various stakeholder groups, including industry, healthcare providers, end-users, and public bodies offer insights into how industry supports introducing â€œadditional incentives like transferable exclusivity vouchers on top of current intellectual property rightsâ€ to foster innovation, whilst other stakeholders are more in favor of alternative proposals such as â€œthe use of scientific adviceâ€ and â€œimplementing expediting measures for regulatory evaluationâ€ of medicines targeting UMN.
