EuSoMII was looking for a professional, all-in-one virtual conference provider to host the inaugural EuSoMII Virtual Annual Meeting - ‘How to prepare for the digital age’ - all at a competitive price point. The society required a platform that offered concurrent sessions and interactive features in order to increase the engagement around conference posters, presentations, and extensive video.
To secure financial backers, EuSoMII needed a platform that offered integrated sponsor advertisements and branding options. As this was EuSoMII’s first fully-virtual meeting, it was important to provide a platform with an intuitive look and feel to ensure both conference organizers and attendees had a seamless event experience.
Morressier provided an end-to-end service for the EuSoMII Virtual Annual Meeting. Authors submitted their conference abstracts, posters, and presentations using Morressier’s workflow solutions and attended and interacted with live and pre-recorded sessions on its virtual conference platform. After the event, authors were able to discover and access content on the EuSoMII custom-branded repository, increasing conference longevity and impact.
EuSoMII organizers and presenters were supported throughout the entire conference by the Morressier customer success team. To ensure the event went off without a hitch, presenters received individual training sessions and the Morressier team was always on hand for any last-minute changes or technical questions.
Seamless transition to a virtual format
Delegates provided highly positive feedback on the conference and adapted easily to the virtual format, interacting over 2,000 times with content and sessions.
A data-driven approach
Post-event, EuSoMII organizers used Morressier’s conference analytics to choose abstract prizewinners and plan the conference program for 2021.
New sponsorship opportunities
Integrated sponsored content ensured that the meeting had the financial backing to be a success, without incurring additional costs to attendees.
EuSoMII is now evaluating the Morressier platform as their new repository for all conference documents, including a yearly subscription to host a variety of virtual meetings throughout 2021.
